Use of High Pressure Waterjetting (HPWJ) and Ultra High Waterjetting (UHPWJ) for surface preparation of steel surfaces, concomitant with the removal of coatings containing lead and other heavy metals is increasingly more common to additional sectors of industrial painting. Application of waterjetting as an alternative method of surface preparation where toxic metals are present in the existing coatings brings with it the same responsibilities and obligations for waste management as abrasive blast cleaning. This Webinar is intended to present current management practices for the containment and disposal of HPWJ and UHPWJ generated waste.
