Addressing Infrared Heat Reflective Coating Systems is part of the CPIA Webinar Series.

Are you curious about how coatings can contribute to a building's overall energy consumption? Did you know that certain coatings systems can actually help structures meet environmentally-focused programs? In this webinar, Tex-Cote VP of Sales, Terry Wallace, will address Infrared (IR) Heat Reflective Coating Systems for the exterior walls of a structure and how this important technological breakthrough can offer new advantages and opportunities in commercial, health care, institutional and transportation applications. The presentation will also provide an overview of this innovative coating technology, as well as an update on key code requirements and energy-saving standards.

In addition, Wallace will discuss state-of-the-art methods to improve longevity and, consequently, sustainability of all structures with these building coating systems.

By the end of this webinar, attendees will learn:

• How an advanced coating system on wall surfaces can offer a similar, or even a more significant reduction in heat absorption than cool roofs;
• How to increase Solar Resistance Index (SRI) and achieve reflective values in deeptone comparable to white;
• About various coating systems that include: High Aesthetic Appeal, Drastic Energy Savings, State-of-the-art Durability, Unmatched Fade Resistance, Lower Maintenance Costs and Reduced Environmental Impact;
• About the substantial energy savings discovered in a study by the U.S. Dept. of Energy; and
• How these systems are being included in building codes and in environmentally focused programs such as LEED.
