With an increased focus on performance and durability, water-based Kynar Aquatec fluoropolymer-based coatings can help painting contractors exceed their client’s goals. Specifically, this course will cover the key components and function of weatherable fluoropolymer coatings and how they compare to other coatings.


At the end of this program, participants will be able to:

• Compare PVDF coatings to other weatherable coatings in order to facilitate decision-making and select appropriate coatings for a given application;
• Describe Cool Walls/Cool Roofs and how PVDF coatings can increase energy savings for building owners for new construction and re-coating projects; and
• Explain the use and function of PVDF coatings to enhance and protect key building components.

Partridge is responsible for the sales of Kynar PVDF polymer into the North American coatings market. He has 35 years' experience in the polymer industry in sales, business development, technical service and R&D. He has worked for Arkema for the last eighteen years.
