Coatings for Industry, Inc.

Coatings For Industry, Inc. has been manufacturing specialized, high-technology industrial, aerospace, and architectural coatings since 1970. As a leader in urethane coating technology, we have developed coatings from primers to topcoats that can withstand the most demanding environments. Whether you need 14,000 hours ASTM Salt Fog resistance, or a floor coating that will not tire mark under the heaviest aircraft, CFI can provide your solution.

Participants are eligible for one AIA LU credit. Resinous flooring can be seamless, durable and decorative, however the terminology of "resinous flooring" can define a broad range of coating chemistries and uses. There is a common misconception wherein many floor coatings are referred to as epoxies even though the category is shared among other systems including urethanes, polyaspartics and MMA’s. It is our goal to provide the attendee with a basic understanding of the different types of resinous flooring systems as well as the correct areas and uses for specifying those systems.

In this webinar, we will cover the following topics:

-Advantages of resinous flooring

-Different chemistries of used in resinous flooring

-Typical flooring systems and their uses including historical examples

-Basic installation parameters
