Tnemec

Introducing Aerolon, a new thermal insulating coating from Tnemec. Its innovative, fluid-applied formulation features the world’s best insulating solid, aerogel. Equally effective in both interior and outdoor environments, Aerolon provides exceptional corrosion under insulation (CUI) resistance, significant energy savings, contact burn protection, and fast, labor-saving application. Part of a complete coatings system, Aerolon’s many wide-ranging benefits make it an all-in-one-solution. For more information, visit tnemec.com/aerolon.

Preventing Corrosion Under Insulation is a function of the whole "sandwich" of jacketing, insulation and proper CUI coating over the substrate. Specifiers must select CUI prevention systems which work together well in their particular corrosion environment. Don’t get stuck with salami and sauerkraut on a corn tortilla when you really wanted—and needed—a ham and swiss on rye.
