LUMIFLON® resins were developed by Asahi Glass in 1982 as the world’s first solvent-soluble fluoropolymers. In the past 25 years, fluoropolymer coatings based on LUMIFLON® resins have been produced by paint manufacturers around the world, and applied to over 150,000 structures. The use of LUMIFLON® resins offers substantial life cycle cost savings compared to conventional coating technologies.

Initial installed cost is just one factor for consideration when selecting a coating for buildings, bridges, water towers, and other structures This webinar provides a framework for considering total life cycle costs, factoring in savings on maintenance, re-coating and replacement. The presenter discusses the choice of FEVE coatings vs. other coating types using these considerations.
