LUMIFLON® FEVE Resins were developed by Asahi Glass in 1982 as the world’s first solvent-soluble fluoropolymers. In the past 35 years, fluoropolymer coatings based on LUMIFLON® FEVE Resins have been produced by paint manufacturers around the world, and applied to over 150,000 structures. The use of LUMIFLON ® FEVE Resins offers substantial life cycle cost savings compared to conventional coating technologies. Please visit www.lumiflonusa.com.

The Architectural Coatings industry has spent several years developing innovations to improve performance, durability and finish for coatings products applied to metal components. This seminar will update the design and construction community on the latest technologies to achieve AAMA compliance, define nomenclature, discuss characteristics of different application methods and other topics that will help to correctly specify coatings.

Learning Objectives:
• Understand architectural coatings and where they can be applied;
• Understand AAMA as a specification standard and how coatings manufacturers achieve categories;
• Determine sustainability with LEED / EPD; and
• Learn examples of different ways to specify.
