Provides information for use in the design and selection of materials used in the handling and storage of commercial concentrated sulfuric acid (H2SO4) at temperatures of up to 50°C (120°F). The primary purpose of this standard is to provide information allowing the reader to make a more informed decision regarding the design and selection of materials. This standard is intended to assist engineers and CPI operations and maintenance personnel who are involved in the design, modification, and maintenance of ambient-temperature, concentrated sulfuric acid systems and equipment.
