Advanced IUPAT Training and Certifications that Make a Difference on a Project

Originally Presented: Thursday, November 12, 2020

Advanced skills and safety training, as well as industry certifications, are paramount to a productive job site. The International Union of Painters and Allied Trades, through its affiliates, not only offers such training and certification opportunities, but also provides the resources for IUPAT signatory employers to build a better business as well.

The IUPAT International Finishing Trades Institute, accredited by the Council on Occupational Education (COE), has provided skills and safety training for almost fifty years in multiple crafts, including industrial and commercial painting.

Our partnerships with industry leaders such as SSPC and NACE give industrial painters and contractors the avenue to earn certifications for a competitive edge.

Finishing First, the labor-management partnership of the IUPAT, provides programs such as Estimating Essentials, Project Management and Fundamentals of Successful Contracting to IUPAT employers to assist them in taking their bidding and job site performance to a higher level over the rest of the field to increase market share.

This webinar covers in further detail the business and workforce solutions offered by the IUPAT and its affiliates.
