How do you measure the DFT or WFT of a film-forming sealer applied to a metallized coating (e.g., flame-sprayed zinc)?

As said before, the layer must not be a fully closed paint film. A light quantity of paint is sufficient. The only reason to apply this is to seal the porosity of the TSA and avoid popping when applying the overcoat.

As it is about sealing the porosity of the surface, it is enough to cover the entire surface. (It is usually said, "layer at zero microns.") It is not necessary to measure the thickness of the paint layer. It is enough that the entire surface is covered, since its function is not barrier layer proportions.
