The selection of the internal coating of pipes that transport abrasive fluids is a function of several factors: pipe diameter, shape (straight, elbows), type of fluid, solid particles in suspension, displacement speed, working temperature, other pollutants, etc. In general, after preparation by Sa2 ½ blasting of ISO 8501-1, with a roughness of 50-100µ, an Epoxy (amine), Epoxy (phenolic) paint system is applied, with or without fiberglass (Glass Flake), or ceramic Epoxy, depending on the solicitations.
