Preferably, choose hot dip galvanizing without any chrome passivation. Start washing with 140 bar pressure and 80 C water to remove dirt, oils and grease. Dry it immediately with clean compressed air. Then brush it off with a dry blasting system just to create roughness.
Apply the paint system as recommended by the paint manufacturer.
