There is no correlation between lab test corrosion data with real world exposure performance. The specific lab testing standards and equipment are tools only to determine how one product or formulation is better/ worst than the other.

There is no reliable relationship between laboratory tests and environmental exposure tests, since the exposure conditions are not the same. A laboratory test is worth comparing anticorrosive systems under these conditions, but not their durability in environmental exposure.
