Depending on the severity of the mildew growth, you may use a household bleach solution by thoroughly soaking the infected area and then brushing with clean water. If a stubborn growth of mildew is present, use a solution containing Disodium Octaborate Tetrahydrate, and Benzalkonium Chloride. Always wear PPE when handling chemicals and follow the manufacturer's instruction on how to use and apply this type of mildew killer.
