(With apologies to Jeff Foxworthy)When the cost to re-do it is much higher than the cost of inspection, you might want an inspector. If it's critical work or near impossible to get at later, you might want an inspector. If the client says that's the way they want it, you might want an inspector. If you're not sure about the guy with the lowest bid, you might want an inspector. :)
