Does roller nap decrease the lifespan of a three-coat OZEU (organic zinc prime coat, an epoxy intermediate coat, and a urethane finish coat) paint system? Is there a visual guide or specification for this in the industry or test results available for study?

Also, the thickness cannot be easily controlled compared to spray gun application.

Without full cathodic contact, the coating system is reliant on barrier protection, which does have a direct impact on service life of this coating system. I am not aware of any technical data or studies performed on this application process.
