Yes, the MEK rub test is a conclusive test to check the proper cure of IOZ primers. The MEK shall be pure and surface shall be free from dust, overspray, dry spray or other foreign particles.

Yes, the MEK rub test is conclusive. Never accept rub tests with IOZ thinners as recommended by quite a few coating manufacturers.
If you are doubtful about the MEK content in your container, you can instantly recognize it from its smell and coldness on your finger.
Remove IOZ dry spray before starting to rub.
