In my municipal setting, we are constantly confronted with graffiti. I have tried many, many products, but I have found one that meets my requirements for speed, efficiency, and environmental regulations.
Apply a coat of paint remover. Cover with a sheet of black plastic to increase the temperature inside the shroud, helping the active ingredients in the paint remover. Allow to dwell overnight. Remove the plastic sheet. Use a plastic or wire brush to scrub the overspray. Wipe off most of the paint remover. Powers wash at a pressure that will not damage the bricks. Contain the power washing run-off.

I suggest spraying on a colored, moisture-curing polysiloxane anti-graffiti coating, which can be applied over tagged surfaces. In the future, I suggest using either the clear or colored version of this permanent anti-graffiti coating. Then any tags applied over the anti-graffiti coating can be removed with a cold water wash. No harsh chemicals are required!
