Do the balcony floor slabs on the high-rise seaside condo I’m working on in Florida really need cathodic protection?

There is not enough information about the floor slab connection to the main building to answer the question properly. But, in Florida I'd recommend no interior rebar. Design the balcony with exterior structural supports that can be observed over the years. Oh, and coat the exterior steel supports against salt spray.
