Add to this, improvements can be made using air-assisted airless units for actual transfer performance. Also the use of plural pumps on jobs can reduce waste, particularly the heated units as this can improve pot life and quality of finish as well.

Coatings transfer efficiency varies significantly, depending on the surface complexity, geometry and size. You may want to consider masking (encapsulating) of the area if it involves field work. Use a skilled spray operator. Refer to the product data sheet of the paint supplier for information on pump pressure, correct spray tip, etc.

Initially, we must select a right pump rate, gun and nozzle tip. During application, the painter must maintain an adequate distance from the surface, have good application technique (keeping the gun perpendicular to the surface and moving the hand at the correct speed). They should continuously monitor environmental conditions to avoid painting during high winds and excessive temperatures.
