Before you can carry out ...read more Before you can carry out a risk assessment, you need to know the hazards. The first stage would be a hazard assessment of the comprehensive list given above. Most relevant personnel are familiar with the stages of risk assessment, but a competence is required to evaluate the hazard, especially the hazards associated with paints and coatings. Now that nano paint technology is being introduced, knowledge about the health effects has not advanced enough to protect users and others from the hazards.
