Depends on which abrasive you compare it to. There is no abrasive that meets the requirements of every project. We use a greater variety of abrasives and mesh sizes now than we ever did.

It is very very similar in physical characteristics to slag abrasives, hardness etc, ultra low free crystalline silica. Meets all SSPC AB-1 for grades 1-2-3-4,
