Advantages: None. Depends on which abrasive you compare it to.
There is no abrasive that meets the requirements of every project. We use a greater variety of abrasives and mesh sizes now than we ever did.

Crushed glass abrasive is often overlooked as a go-to abrasive. It has brighter surface finish, great coating removal rates. It is very very similar in physical characteristics to slag abrasives, hardness etc, ultra low free crystalline silica. Meets all SSPC AB-1 for grades 1-2-3-4,
