I need to embed a metallized culvert liner on concrete. I've been told I have to paint it to avoid adhesion problems between the metal liner and the concrete. Is this true and, if so, what type of coating is best?

More information is needed to properly answer the question; however, it is very likely that a barrier coating may be required to prevent corrosion, assuming it is an aluminum or zinc metallizing.

Clean the metallic surface and apply a layer of adherent epoxy primer with anti-corrosive pigments.
