What is the best way to assure compliance with specified dry film coating thickness requirements on vertical concrete?

From Jeff Kim of Sherwin-Williams on February 13, 2019:
There are several options to verify compliance with the specified DFT. For non-destructive means, use an ultrasonic coating thickness gage and follow ASTM D6132. For destructive testing, use ASTM D4138 cross-section cutting. Referencing SSPC-PA 9 is a good place to start as it has procedures laid out in a format similar to SSPC-PA 2.
