What type of antifouling or foul-release coating will provide the greatest protection in warm tropical waters, and for how long?

From Hugh O'Neill of Fastrack Contracting Ltd on November 14, 2018:
Silyl acrylate and foul release coatings both perform well in tropical waters. One company has introduced a new type of coating which utilizes foul release in conjunction with a small amount of biocide, which appears to perform very well in tropical waters, even with extended idle periods.
