What is the best method for protecting cables on suspension bridges from corrosion?

Prepare and apply a high solids, high build, anti-corrosion pigmented DTM elastomeric protective coating that does not become brittle with aging, and will tolerate the continuous thermal expansion and contraction of the cables.
