Selected Answers

From Atanas Cholakov of Insignia JFZ on May 25, 2013:
The cause of breakdown or damage should be identified first. The coating supplier tech. rep. should be able to provide the answer after investigation.

From IDAHOSA ANDREW of SEA TRUCKS GROUPS, WEST AFRICAN VENTURES on May 15, 2013:
Yes, I agree with Richard Franklin of Franklin Consulting service because repair of polyurea coatings vividly depends on the type of application.

From Richard Franklin of Franklin Consulting Services on April 19, 2013:

Repair of polyurea coatings is dependent on the type of application. Small deck repairs can easily be spot-abraded, primed using a primer, or the affected area and sourrounding area can be softened using a solvent wipe and a repair kit utilized if it is a small area.

For larger areas the preparation is similar, but the matter of applying the new polyurea may require the use of plural component equipment. This answer requires substrates that are clean, dry and stable in all cases.
