Protecting that area. The ISO 12944:2018 Standard in its Part 9: Anti-corrosive paint systems and laboratory performance test methods for overseas structures and related structures, contemplates this situation.
In Table 3 - Minimum requirements for protective paint systems and their initial performance defines the surface preparation, the minimum number of layers, the minimum thickness of the primer, the minimum total thickness of the system and tests to be carried out (adherence ISO 4624 5Mpa. Porosity ISO 29601).
