For the first time in American history, the U.S. Department of Transportation released a National Freight Strategic Plan regarding long-term investments in infrastructure, the workforce and other essential parts of the freight system. Do you think the plan will help maintain the nation’s competitive edge across major industries like agriculture, manufacturing, energy production and e-commerce?

For the longest time we have needed to deregulate the railroads and allow them to efficiently price and move product across the country rather than long haul trucking that has been union protected by our freiends on the left. If they are really concerned about greenhouse gases trains are extremely more efficient in moving product across the country rather than the unionized trucking industry.
