Several recent catastrophic workplace accidents have prompted criminal charges against owners of companies involved in the project. When should criminal charges against company officers be an option?


Only if the owner/official personally created, approved, or should have known of the hazardous circumstance.
Anytime a workplace has health or safety hazards. Owners are 100% responsible for worker safety.
In any case involving worker death or serious injury.
Never. Let OSHA, EPA and other regulators handle it.
