In early May nearly 400 birds were killed after colliding with a 23-story building in Texas, believed to be caused by bad weather combined with migration and the reflective glass of the building. Because of that incident and more, the Houston Audubon Society says it is looking into an alert system that would inform high-rise building owners of bad weather and migration patterns, advising them to turn off their lights. Do you think this is a good idea?
