President Trump, in an executive order last month, declared that “all new pipelines, as well as retrofitted, repaired or extended pipelines, inside the borders of the United States,” should use materials produced in the United States “to the maximum extent possible.” Will new American pipelines be manufactured mainly in the U.S. in the coming years?

Yes. American manufacturing will ramp up under the new administration.
No, but more steel will be made in the U.S. than has been in years.
