Will the U.S. oil and gas industry grow or falter in 2017?

Grow. The new Congress and presidential administration will ease regulatory burdens and allow the construction of more pipelines and drilling operations.
That depends mainly on economic conditions elsewhere around the world.
Other: Please explain in the comments section.
Falter. Drilling is a political hot topic right now, and bad PR and court fights will have a chilling effect.
