Researchers are currently developing a glass-based coating for ships and rooftops. Do you believe this will be beneficial for protecting them from heat and sun?

It could be a good idea, but I want to see it in practice.
It seems like a good idea and has the potential to save energy and renovation costs.
I don't think it will be more beneficial than other protective coatings.
It contains silica, so it shouldn't be used at all.
