In the wake of a new construction schedule, DEMAG CC-8800—the world’s fourth-largest crawler crane—has begun work on the $1.66 billion Las Vegas’ MSG Sphere. While the crane is reported to weigh 869 tons, an 850-ton counterweight is slated to be added for stability.
