A fourth-year forensic science student from the University of Toronto, Bethany Krebs, discovered a form of abrasive blasting that could be more efficient in revealing fingerprints than conventional dusting methods. By using abrasive blasting, Krebs argues that the methodical, uniform technology of abrasive blasting minimizes the risk of error that comes with traditional fingerprinting.
