Quikspray Unveils Compact Pumps
New mini-pump units from Quikspray Inc. enlarge the options for spray application in small spaces.
Both units—one electric and one manual—are designed to dispense a wide variety of materials, according to Ohio-based Quikspray, a global supplier of material handling pumps and mixers for the commercial coatings industry.
Quikspray says the equipment is lightweight, portable and easy to use.
Electric Mini-Pump
The Electric Mini-Pump (Model 200) is powered with standard 110VAC and has a slim, compact design. The unit is suitable for application of plaster and cement fireproofing, cement water proofers, and light-body materials such as knock-down textures
Accessories include a remote control, air compressor, air and material lines, and a 12-inch texture or fireproofing pole gun. All of the components can be mounted on the portable hand dolly with front-locking swivel casters. The manufacturer says the unit requires little or no maintenance.
Manual Mini-Pump
Operated with a hand crank, the Manual Mini-Pump (Model 100) is used to fill voids in hard-to-reach places. The unit can also serve as a dispenser for light-bodied, small aggregated materials such as epoxy, plaster and cement.
