THURSDAY, JULY 11, 2013

Architectural weatherproofing supplier Pecora has added AVB Silicone, a one-part silicone sealant, to its commercial construction line.

AVB Silicone is formulated for primerless use on transition seals, according to Pecora.

The product offers "exceptional adhesion" between dissimilar materials in air and vapor barrier systems, such as high-density polyethylene peel-and-stick laminates, liquid-applied weather barriers, building wraps and termination/transition seals, and other typical building materials, the company says.

Features and Availability

Pecora AVB Silicone is durable in all weather conditions and is compatible with natural stones and other porous surfaces susceptible to staining or silicone fluid migration, according to the manufacturer.
