Floor Buffer Made for Dust Control
Floor maintenance supplier Aztec Products has introduced a new low-profile floor buffer/burnisher designed for dust control.
The new 27-inch LowRider is CE, EPA, CARB, LEED and GS-42 green certified for indoor use in approved areas.
The high-speed unit is made entirely in the U.S., according to Aztec, based in Montgomeryville, PA.
The 37-year-old family-owned company manufactures floor maintenance equipment for the janitorial/sanitation and polished-concrete floor industry.
Features and Design
The unit has a patent-pending vacuum system for containing air particulates and a rugged, solid steel body design with an ultra-low 3¾-inch profile for buffing and polishing under racks and hard-to reach areas, Aztec says.
The LowRider also includes an advanced composite polymer pad driver; an EPA-certified Kawasaki 603cc engine; bolted-on parts for easy field repairs; and dust control upgrade, which was developed to comply with the GS-42 requirements. Both 24- and 27-inch pad sizes are available.
The unit shines vinyl composition tile (VCT) and, for concrete contractors, "has enough head pressure to heat up densifiers, which provides a proper cure for the chemicals and achieving high-gloss readings," said Aztec vice president Steven Spengler.
