Directory, Specifying Top New D+D Issue

Expert advice on renovating historic structures, coatings removal, specifying coatings for commercial architecture and a brand-new painting contractor directory are all part of the new issue of Durability + Design Magazine, now available free online.

The cover story, "Specifying Architectural and Industrial Coatings for Commercial Architecture," is by John C. Williams, FCSI, CCS, who is director of specifications for HOK in Kansas City. The article examines the specification process for a wide variety of buildings, spaces and environments.

The May 2013 issue, available in two online formats, also includes the first annual Durability + Design Contractor Directory. With more than 1,000 entries, the directory is searchable by 14 industries (air barriers, commercial painting, concrete floors, concrete polishing, decorative concrete, façade restoration and others); eight service areas (access and containment, fireproofing, shop painting, and others); country; and region.
