Free Webinar Looks at Coating Resins


The ins and outs of using fluoropolymer resins for powder coatings will be the topic of a free product-focused webinar hosted by Durability + Design.

"Aesthetics and Performance: Fluoropolymer Resins for Powder Coatings," a D+D Product Profile webinar, will be presented from 11 a.m. to noon ET April 25.

Sponsored and presented by AGC Chemicals, the webinar will discuss the advantages and disadvantages of fluoropolymer chemistry and compare its weathering and performance with other coating types. The discussion will also include overall lifecycle cost considerations.

Presenter Bob Parker is a technical service chemist for the Lumiflon line of fluoropolymer resins manufactured by AGC Chemicals, a global provider of specialty chemicals.

Bob Parker has been in the coatings industry for more than 30 years.

Parker has been in the paint industry for 32 years and has a B.S. in chemistry from Alvernia College. He currently works at the AGCCA Technical Center in Exton, PA.
