New Premium Interior Line is Zero VOC

WEDNESDAY, APRIL 10, 2013

Dunn-Edwards has introduced a new line of interior, low-odor, zero-VOC paints for schools, hospitality, hospitals and other commercial and residential applications.

The new Spartazero line is formulated with a zero-VOC resin technology that is designed to provide a tough, stain-resistant, easy-to-apply finish.

Spartazero is available in flat, velvet, eggshell and semi-gloss finishes, as well as a complete range of tint bases, according to Dunn-Edwards.

Formula and Applications

Spartazero can be used on properly prepared and primed interior wood, metal or masonry, and all finishes are self-priming on new drywall, the manufacturer says.

For added performance, Spartazero Semi-Gloss is formulated using 100 percent acrylic resin technology to maximize adhesion, block and stain-resistance performance, according to Dunn-Edwards.

Like all other Dunn-Edwards products, Spartazero Interior is ethylene glycol (EG)-free and produced in the world’s only LEED Gold-certified paint manufacturing plant. All Dunn-Edwards latex paint is tinted with zero-VOC colorants, the company says.
