Commercial Track to Roll at SSPC 2013

MONDAY, JANUARY 14, 2013


SAN ANTONIO—Coatings issues and solutions for commercial structures will be on the front burner when SSPC 2013 opens today in San Antonio, TX.

Ten sessions at the annual conference will be devoted specifically to commercial structures, with one track sponsored by Durability + Design (Booth 437).

The sessions will include news on the work of SSPC's Commercial Coating Committee, which has made significant progress in its efforts to develop standards and guides for architectural coatings and coating work.

Committee chairman Ken Trimber of KTA-Tator Inc. will update the work of the committee, which was established in October 2011 and met again at SSPC 2012.

The Commercial Structures track will complement a full slate of technical education tracks, SSPC certifications and training courses, peer forums, panel discussions, committee meetings, and networking events that begin today (Jan. 14) and conclude Thursday (Jan. 17).
