Zero-VOC Flat Made for New Housing

THURSDAY, JANUARY 10, 2013

Dunn-Edwards has introduced low-odor, zero-VOC Acri-Wall, an interior flat paint designed for new residential, commercial and multi-tenant housing projects.

Acri-Wall Ready-to-Use Interior Flat Paint "provides excellent hide and touch-up characteristics, so painting contractors get the project done on time and on budget," said Dave Heiligenthal, product manager.

Waterborne Acri-Wall is self-priming on new drywall and is available in a tintable White and in Swiss Coffee (DEW341) in one-gallon and five-gallon containers.

Dunn-Edwards says the paint applies smoothly and easily: The first coat seals and primes; the second coat dries to a smooth, even finish. Its low odor makes the paint suitable for occupied spaces where lower-odor products are preferred.

Like all other Dunn-Edwards latex products, Acri-Wall is ethylene glycol (EG)-free and manufactured in the world's first and only LEED Gold-certified manufacturing plant.
