Contractors Needed for MO Water Tank Coating

The Jefferson County Public Water Supply District No. 2 in High Ridge, Missouri, is currently seeking contractors for the rehabilitation of a 1-million-gallon welded steel fluted pillar/column elevated water storage tank.

Bids are due June 6.

Scope of Work

This project includes Commercial Blast-Cleaning (SSPC-SP 6/NACE No. 3) and coating of interior dry tank surfaces that are in contact with welded areas using a three-coat zinc/acrylic coating system.

Work also involves Commercial Blast-Cleaning (SSPC-SP 6/NACE No. 3) and coating of interior dry surfaces in need of spot repairs areas using a three-coat zinc coating system.

Containment is required for this project, as well as a 10-year warranty for all coatings in this project. A coating inspection is also required.

The brand specified for this project is Tnemec.
