DE County Seeking Fire School Painting Bids

Kent County in Delaware is seeking bids for renovation and painting work to the addition on the Delaware State Fire School.

The submittal date for this project is June 6. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on May 13 at 10 a.m.

Scope of Work

The project entails the construction of a 10,400 square foot addition to the existing school in Dover, Delaware. The new addition will contain housing offices, conference spaces, gym facilities, a vehicle inspection bay, a commissioner’s chamber and associated support areas for commission staff.

Interior and exterior painting work should include a three-coat system of latex on concrete, concrete masonry units (CMU), steel, iron, galvanized metals, wood and gypsum board.
