Bids Open for MO Water Tank Coating Work

The Jefferson County Public Water Supply District No. 1 in Barnhart, Missouri, is currently seeking contractors for the rehabilitation of one 250,000-gallon welded-steel single-pedestal elevated water storage tank.

Bids are due April 4.

Scope of Work

This project includes the Commercial Blast-Cleaning (SSPC-SP 6/NACE No. 3) and coating of exterior tank surfaces using a four-coat zinc coating system.

Additionally, it requires Near-White Metal Blast-Cleaning (SSPC-SP 10/NACE No. 2) and coating for wet interior tank surfaces using a three-coat zinc/epoxy coating system.

This project also includes the Commercial Blast-Cleaning (SSPC-SP 6/NACE No. 3) and coating of interior dry tank surfaces using a four-coat zinc coating system.

Containment is required for this project, as is logo painting. The brand specified for this project is Tnemec.
