Gemini Coatings Launches Floor Finish Division

Interior and exterior wood coatings manufacturer Gemini Coatings recently launched its new Floor Finish Division. According to the company’s emailed release, two wood floor finishing product brands will be offered, including Glitsa and Lenmar.

“The launch of this new division marks a significant milestone in our ability to provide a broad range of reliable wood finishes to our customers,” said Chris Hicks, President and CEO of Gemini Coatings.

“Our Floor Finish Division team has years of experience and offers technical product and finishing expertise every day, creating a one-stop solution for all floor finishing needs.”

Gemini says that its Glitsa products offer “quality and performance with optimized formulas based on classic Swedish principles.” The product family includes conversion varnishes, waterborne finishes, oil modified polyurethanes, wood flour cement wood fillers and maintenance products.

Alternatively, the Lenmar products include oil modified polyurethanes, gym floor finish, moisture cure urethanes, wood floor cleaner and preparation products.

“Gemini has always been at the forefront of advancements in the coatings industry and the Floor Finish Division is no exception,” said Julie Russell, Gemini Floor Finish Division Director of Sales.

“We know floors are much more than just surfaces, they are the foundation of beautiful and functional spaces. We are excited to push boundaries in this industry, redefine standards and exceed customer expectations.”

Back in June, Gemini had announced that it had entered into an agreement to acquire the assets of Seattle-based wood coatings manufacturer, Rudd Company, Inc. According to the emailed release at the time, the acquisition included the Rudd Wood Finishes and Glitsa Wood Floor Finishes products.
