Paint and coatings manufacturer and retailer Tucson Rubberized Coatings recently announced that it is providing material discounts and shipping to assist communities in California following Hurricane Hilary.

The hurricane, which had later been downgraded to a tropical storm, broke several records for daily rainfall amounts and caused “life-threatening” flooding, according to the National Weather Service.

“Understanding the extensive damage that such natural calamities can inflict, especially to roofs, our company is offering significant discounts on a range of roofing materials shipped to California specifically for repairs related to Hurricane Hilary,” wrote the company in its release.

According to the announcement, available materials for immediate shipping include:

  • Acrylic and silicone roof coatings;
  • Underlayments (including felt paper, synthetic, and peel and stick);
  • Built-Up Roofing Systems (comprising base, plys, and the hot asphalt products);
  • Various repair products, including plastic roof cement, and acrylic and silicone patching compounds; and
  • Reinforcement Polyester Fabrics available in all widths.

Additionally, Tucson Rubberized Coatings is seeking partnerships with a select group of contractors in Southern California to provide relief to those affected by the hurricane.

“In these trying times, Tucson Rubberized Coatings stands shoulder to shoulder with the Southern California community. Our combined efforts will ensure homes are repaired swiftly, and lives are returned to normalcy as soon as possible,” concluded the company.
