Last Chance for Elevation Award Submissions

MONDAY, JULY 24, 2023

Today (July 24) is the last day to submit your nomination for the seventh annual Elevation Awards, a commercial honors program carried out by Technology Publishing Co. and the Commercial Painting Industry Association.

The honors program recognizes projects ranging from residential exteriors and commercial renovations to floor coatings and wall coverings throughout the commercial coatings industry. Facility owners, architects, interior designers, painting contractors, decorative artisans, manufacturers and suppliers alike are all invited to submit nominations.

Regarding a project’s eligibility, all nominated projects must be completed between Jan. 1, 2022, and July 10, 2023. Those nominating projects are permitted to submit more than one, even within the same category. There is no fee to enter.

Winners of the 2023 Elevation Awards will be announced during an awards ceremony at the CPIA Leadership Conference in September and will be featured in PaintSquare Daily News and the winter issue of Commercial Painting.

Quikspray, Inc.
NLB Corporation

To submit a successful nomination, TPC and the CPIA suggest the following:

  1. Fill out all contact information fields.
  2. Select the appropriate Project Category based on project type and its respective description.
  3. Name your project and include its location.
  4. Name the project’s Client/Owner and Contractor for proper recognition.
  5. Don’t forget to include your project’s start and end dates, as they are crucial to the eligibility of your nomination.
  6. When filling out the “About the Project” section, be as descriptive as possible. Our judges would like to know the project’s challenges and why decision makers made the choices they did. This section should run anywhere between 10 to 15 sentences but can run longer as needed.
  7. Being specific is key in the “Products Used for Project” section. List all the products and quantities used on the project. This section can cover everything from surface preparation materials to primers, intermediate and top coats to wallcoverings and glazes. A short sentence explaining why each product was chosen should also be included.
  8. Photos can be the most crucial part of submitting a successful project nomination. For this reason, be sure to include between five and 10 high-resolution photos.
